Deja Vu

No, this is not the same tunic as yesterday:
This is my second finish for the year. Tunic made with the rest of yesterday's fabric. This one is a little shorter, and has narrow cuffs on the sleeves instead of ruffles. Two new items in the wardrobe, 4 metres of fabric out of the sewing room.

Great idea to make two! I understand what you mean about getting fabric out of the sewing room!

Two different tops made easily. Well done.

Sew speedy! It works because it has the look of a pinafore, very cute.

I like this with the narrower cuffs and the more solid-looking body. Is this your own design or did you have a pattern? I've often thought I could always use my fabric for new tops, and have a sleeveless, snap-front, pocketed "blouse" I wear over tees ala an apron, that I'd make a pattern from; perhaps I should go and look through patterns. Very nice!

LOL what a great outcome, two new tops and a bit more room in the sewing stash!

Brilliant! You reversed the fabric placement, used up 4m and got two tops!
