To try and avoid confusion, I labelled various pieces (sky, face, etc), and made some decisions about which parts of his mane should be matching, and which different, colours. Starting Mr Lion
It seems like ages since I have had time to sit and sew. Today I finally got the chance to do some work on this month's Zoo Animals block from Quiet Play:

I'm glad you're finding time to sew. Your lion reminds me now of someone with outrageous spectacles. Don't worry, when you've finished he will look majestic; the jungle VIP.
