Nice Day for a Walk

There's been a bit of rain around here:
Photo taken along the way on a walk to the Lal Lal hall to see the annual photographic exhibition. Paddocks all around are covered in water. The frogs are happy.

Back home in the garden a couple of different varieties of daffodils are starting to open:

Two flowers so far from the very many bulbs planted in early June.

Mine have started flowering but only a few. Glad you got some rain, we could do with a drop more here. Plenty of frosts all week!

Daffodils are my favourite bulb, mine are just poking their heads through the soil. I dug them up, cleaned them and replanted, not expecting too many blooms this year. I love photographic exhibitions. Wish I had known it was on.

Daffodils are a sure sign of spring. The one with the orange center is striking.

Heard there had been a lot of rain. Love a good frog chorus.
