A small band of intrepid folk ventured out on this cold and rainy day to deal with some trees which had fallen and damaged fences at a Trust for Nature property in Linton:
Because of the rain I didn't get my camera out much. But while working we saw many kangaroos, a wallaby or two, and many birds. The flowers on this tiny but lovely correa stood out on such a grey day:
There were many tiny orchids and lilies just starting to emerge. In a month or so there should be lots of wildflowers to be seen.
Chainsaw Guy removing a branch which was sitting on a fence, before it had a chance to demolish the fence:
It wasn't a great day for a walk in the bush, but it was nice to think we had done something to help protect this remnant from any sheep or cows wandering in from the neighbouring properties.

The Correa is very striking against the browns of the forest floor.
The bush needs people like you. Thank you.
Looks a bit like Kubota guy...
