This is where those little square-in-a-square blocks are going:
First border of a medallion-style quilt. Haven't decided on the corners yet. And in fact haven't sewn the centre panel onto the background fabric, either.
If the panel looks familiar, it is because it has been on my blog before -way back in May last year. And at that stage this quilt had been on my "To Do" list for a while already, so it shows you how long I think about things before I actually do anything!

The red brown in your little squares works beautifully with the panel.
I love those little squares--perfect as a surround for that center--it takes some simmering before I can decide how to go on my fabrics, too...looking forward to seeing this come together hugs, Julierose
