Since I started my year quilt I have been trying to work out the best way to use the empty corner blocks for explanations of the colours used and the layout of the rosettes. Today I realised that by unpicking one block and moving it, I could give myself a bigger space to play with:
So week six moved from the second row up to the first, and I constructed a colour legend for the top left corner:
It's not attached to the rest of the quilt yet, as it still needs the numbers either inked in or embroidered.
Linked to Sarah's Weekly Weather Report, just because it's about the temperature quilt. I'll link again when this week's rosette is finished on Friday.
Happy last day of summer!

Oh that is a really great idea--this will be a lovely piece...hugs, Julierose
Very Smart! Each week I saw your progress I think I need to make one temperature quilt.
That works really well. Love your temperature quilt....
That’s a great idea, looks good.
Great solution. The quilt is lovely and I think cooler autumn weather will is more cool colors as the year continues. Happy stitching.l
Great idea. Will you also have the 2 blank blocks together on bottom right for symmetry? It looks like you have warmer toned backgrounds behind your yellow/orange rosettes and white backgrounds behind the blues. Did u do that on purpose or is my mind playing tricks? Oooohhhh - just read the comments - Ivani needs to join in!
Looks great! Nice to see it all together.
It's really coming together well. The colours are flowing on...
It's great to see them all together! I really like the idea of the legend of temps.
