UFOs for August

In July I completed my April UFO:
Zoo Animals blocks designed by Kristy @ Quiet Play. Started Jan 2015.

And finished my June UFO:
The central part of Stars for a New Day designed by Susan Garman.  Started Jan 2009. I like the little wall-hanging, but almost wish I had made the whole quilt (picture at the link). Of course I still have the pattern, so I could do that one day...

My July UFO was Easy Street, Bonnie Hunter's 2012 mystery quilt. Mine was in 5 sections, so I assembled them and added borders:
Started Nov 2012, still a UFO.

The random numbers for August are 5 and 47. I am very glad I can ignore that high number! My number 5 is this small top I made in March 2012 just to try out the technique:
I put it away after assembling it, and haven't looked at it since. So today I got it out, gave it a press, found some fabric to back it, and pin-basted it. Then I pulled out some quilting thread options to consider:
Actually quilting it shouldn't take long once I decide how, as it isn't large. So this UFO should be knocked over fairly quickly, and I can get to work on other projects.

Have fun quilting the twister. I love the colours; just right for Autumn! Ha, ha, but you're just heading into Spring! I forgot!
