Beautiful wisteria-covered structure in the Domain Parklands today.
So what would you call this structure? Is it a pergola? Is it an arbour? Is there a difference between those two? (Wikipedia thinks an arbour and a pergola are the same thing. Do you?) Is it something else?

That would be an arbor to me. An arbor has mainly side structure and minimum roof, is always free standing and primarily for growing a vine or such and a pergola is mostly roof for sun or rain protection, little or no sides and primarily a sitting, dining or entertaining area. Just my 2 cents.
I'd say arbour as a pergola is usually attached to s another structure. Very pretty whatever the label.
