This was 1:40pm despite how dark it looks.
Later in the day we went out for a walk and everything looked fresh and green and the air smelt fantastic!

Good thing you were safe inside. The garden has grown so much in the last year and with this soaking will put on another burst for you.
A lot of rain in little time--meanwhile we are in the midst of a raging blizzard--10"+ of snow still falling and winds howling...so far no loss of power. ;)))
