As May draws to a close, it is time to report on my WOOFA (Working On Or Finishing A ... ) progress. In fact I didn't even set a goal for this month, due to the circumstances occurring at the end of April.
However, I did manage to finish my April WOOFA project during May. Hooray! So now it is time to pick a project for June.
This is a quilt my mother made, I don't know how long ago:
So my plan is to quilt the borders, and add enough quilting to the pieced section to allow it to withstand washing. I think perhaps just stitching in the ditch between the blocks might work? This will be my project for June.
Linked to Cheryll's monthly WOOFA link-up. Thanks, Cheryll!

This is a lovely quilt your mother stitched. It has a beautiful scrappy, vintage aesthetic about it.
It’s so nice to be able to add to the quilt for it to last so many years more.
Your mother created a lovely quilt. So nice that you can add some more quilting to make it last longer. It will look great on her bed.
Your mothers quilt is definitely worth any effort you make. I wish you good luck with it so she can have many year of pleasure from it... xox
Such a pretty quilt with a huge selection of delightful fabrics. You would not want to detract from the hand quilting so around the square blocks and perhaps through the diagonals on the white to make sure. A perfect project choice.
Wonderful finish for your Trail Mix, and so sorry that your family experienced the loss of you Dad. Your mother will love the refurbished quilt. I hope to get your pouch mailed out this week, last week was a bit busy and also lazy! LOL
Your mother quilt is beautiful, OMG Look how many points in the center of the block. I am sure you will make a wonderful quilting,Vireya.
It’s a beautiful quilt.
A great project to work on, and a useful one too. The pattern and fabrics are very pretty.
Ok, saw this mentioned in your later post so was hoping to pick up on the back story. Love this one and the pattern looks familiar. Borders and some stabilizing stitching, piece of cake! (she says as she looks at her own WOOFA still not quilted....).
