Last Sections

Today I got to the end of the Continuous Line Quilting Craftsy course. As it turned out, this was the last exercise:
This one involved turning a non-continuous design into something that can be sewn all in one go. I traced the design on some "Golden Threads" quilting paper, and sewed through it. The above photo is half way through removing the paper, and below is how it looked with all the paper gone and some rough echoing around the design:
When I got to the end of this lesson I was surprised to find that it was the end of the course, as I still had one empty section of my quilt. But as I went back over things, I found that I had missed the very first lesson!

So here's the one I missed:
I did it the same way, sewing over the traced design, then removing the paper. So I went from the most difficult exercise to what was meant to be the easiest. It is nice to have them all done, though! Now I need to get a working walking foot to add the binding, and mark this one off my list of unfinished projects.

Congratulations on both finishing and your quilting. Did you use the paper throughout or just for these two blocks? I use Press and Seal for the same purpose, bought up a bit when it was being cleared.

A job well done. Your Sweet Sixteen is certainly being put to good use.
