Completed Mystery Top

Here it is, photographed this morning while dodging the rain:

Posted with difficulty, as I am learning a new operating system after my previous laptop died in the hot weather. I'm now trying to work out how to get Windows 8 do all the things I used to do!

Added (much) later: Bonnie has another link-up for the mystery. I haven't made more progress, but as I didn't have the borders on for the last link-up, I've added this post to it. Check out all the finished quilts here: Final Grand Illusion Link-Up

Congratulations ! I like the smaller size and hanging from the clothes line it still looks substantial.

The quilt looks great.

I have not upgraded to windows 8. I'm pretty intimidated by it. Hopefully my laptop will last a while longer. Hope you can figure it out quickly.

Your Grand Illusion is just beautiful. You've chosen the right colours with the right contrasts to give us the pattern. I have to do it in another way, as I chose dark colours almost all the way through. Nice to find you. I have to take a walk around your blog. Think you're a hexie woman too.

Lovely quilt finished! I like the fresh colors you chose. The pattern does really well in that smaller size, too. Hugs, Julierose

Your border solution worked out very well! I love the smaller size. It's such a busy pattern and I actually think it looks better as a small quilt.
