Local Democracy Day

Queuing at a local primary school to vote in the council elections:
Getting into the school wasn't easy. There were twenty-four candidates, and each of them seemed to have at least two people handing out how-to-vote cards gathered around the gate.

Baby magpie as proof that it is spring even though it was so cold today:

Later I did a bit of weeding and tidying in the garden, and finished my shirt.

I'll be interested to see the results of our well-supported local elections. I'm trying to imagine the crowd at the school gate--I did a postal vote.

The button holes look good. Local elections here are a reason to dress up if you from Africa,Inda, or other places where democracy is special.

Our elections were postal vote only. I love the fabric of your shirt, a pretty blue.

So you finally managed to do the buttonholes, did you work out what was the problem with the test run? I love those fluffy baby maggies. We've had maggie wars here lately, must be a territorial dispute.
