Everything was a bit icy this morning as the temperature had dropped to minus three before the sun came up. Brr!
Frozen salvia:
Frozen penstemon:
Frozen rosebuds:
Frozen geranium leaves:
That will be the end of the tree dahlias:
They look completely fried, poor things.
Look what the postie brought today!

Scorchio!
Maybe the frost didn't do much damage.
Where did the package of tulip wander ???

I love the photos of the frost on your plants. So beautiful! Our frost has finally ended. Today it will be hot and muggy. A high of 29C.
And here we are in the 80's today...we have our windows opened and our ceiling fans going...at least it's not humid!!
Lovely photos of frost rimed flowers...
Hugs from afar Julierose
Crispy crunchy foliage. I think your parcel has been in a 14 day “isolation” in a postal warehouse. Hope it’s not too late to plant your tulips and your pond is not iced over for your fish to float in.
I guess the tree dahlia was far to tall to protect from frost. Love the crunching but it is a shame about all the damaged flowers.
AusPost deliver - eventually.
Frosty pic's always look great but the temperature isn't great to be outdoors in, is it?...
Stay warm & dry... xox
It is really heating up in Japan, and the rainy season will start any day, so it will be steamy. The frost looks very cooling.
