Christmas in September?

At the supermarket today:
Christmas puddings, cakes, mince pies... It has started.

Even the reindeer are shocked, they haven't grown their antlers yet!
(Spotted on our walk this afternoon. Probably not actual reindeer.)

I know, Vireya--it's not even Halloween yet and they are showing Christmas items here, too!! I hate that rushing of the Holidays and seasons....hugs, Julierose

With the cold snap we are currently having it is more appropriate to be consuming such items now rather than in summer! No - there really is no excuse for this crazy marketing.

Spotlight was setting up for Christmas on Saturday as well.
I remembered wrapping Christmas presents to send home (USA) in DJ'S bags because wrapping paper wasn't available. Closing date for overseas was mid September. Guess I wouldn't have the same problem.

I believe those "reindeer" are actually elk - at least that is what elk look like in Oregon, USA. Have a Merry Little Christmas! ;)
