A Bit of Rain

We've had a few drops of rain. This is a little corner of our garden:
Our water tank is full to overflowing, the supplementary tank is full, and the ground is very very wet.

Everyone's dams seem to be full to overflowing. Low areas around town are under water:
There's a lot of water.
Everywhere.

Almost the whole population of Lal Lal is here:

To see a rare sight
 and hear the roar
 of Lal Lal Falls!

Compare with last September here, where I was impressed by what now seems like a trickle, and how the falls look for most of the year:
Photo from January last year.

I have been thinking of you with all the rain about. I do hope this will be the worst of it for you. Perhaps it would be a good time to work out where to put a dry dam for any future deluge. Stay safe and dry! The fall looks wonderful.

I have seen news of this rain and flooding on the TV. It will be a test for your home, no doubt. At least you are safe and dry.
