Wow! This was an interesting day to take a drive to Daylesford. On the way, strange white flakes started to fall, and I had to pull over and take a photo:
I have never driven in snow before, and only once before even been in falling snow. It was amazing!

A little further along the road it got even heavier:
It started to build up on the road. People were stopping everywhere to take photos, I wasn't the only one.

Even the trees had accumulations of snow:

Ideal lunch on a cold day:

In the afternoon there was more snow, but it didn't build up in the town:
If we had know it was going to snow, we might not have chosen this day for the meeting with our architect. But seeing the snow was much more fun than sitting at home where it only rained and hailed on the coldest day of the year. (Hard to believe it was 20 degrees yesterday, and we had the doors and windows open to warm up the house!)
