I think your first photo is a Cladonia (Pixie Cup Lichen). Great photo!
Love your close detail shots. I imagine the fungi as tiny pixie houses.

Dee, thank you for putting me on the right track. yes, it does seem to be a Cladonia lichen, rather than a fungus as I thought.
