This old enamel sign might have been tempting, but not at that price:
Hard to see because of the reflections, but it is a woman in a sari using a treadle machine - in fact a सिंगर सीने की मशीन! (Singer sewing machine)

I bet if the sign was on eBay some zanie collector would come at the price. It's 3x's what I paid for my Featherweight. But still I watched a couple bits go at auction for way out of my price range.
Have a nice time on the road. Too bad about the back seat.
I'm out of the back seat now - and resolved never to climb into the back seat of a two-door car again (if I can possibly avoid it).
Good point about the price of the sign - the place in the second photo had treadle machines for less than that.
