That looks like a late peach variety called 'O'Henry' The pear looks to be a 'Red Sensation', a heritage variety from Victoria in the 1930s
They look perfect and sounds like they tasted that way too.

They look delicious. We have three varieties of peaches - an early peach, a mid peach and a late peach. That provides us peaches throughout summer.
