Bees Like Peonies

Three bees in a peony flower.

Neither of our bee hives made it through the winter, which was very sad. But these bees are probably ours anyway, as we have two newly-established hives which came from a bee keeper in Geelong.

  2. WOW--I guess they DO like peonies! ;)))
They really get into them don't they--

I didn't know you had hives--that's terrific--if I were a lot younger I would consider doing that as our bee population is in dire trouble...all these commercial sprays and all...anyway--lovely peony color; gosh that coral-ly pink and yellow are gorgeous aren't they?
I wish I could still garden --but alas, my back will not cooperate...so thanks for your lovely photos..
