Neither of our bee hives made it through the winter, which was very sad. But these bees are probably ours anyway, as we have two newly-established hives which came from a bee keeper in Geelong.
WOW--I guess they DO like peonies! ;))) They really get into them don't they--
I didn't know you had hives--that's terrific--if I were a lot younger I would consider doing that as our bee population is in dire trouble...all these commercial sprays and all...anyway--lovely peony color; gosh that coral-ly pink and yellow are gorgeous aren't they? I wish I could still garden --but alas, my back will not cooperate...so thanks for your lovely photos.. hugs, Julierose
Hi Vireya such a pretty flower,sorry about your bee hives,we planted lots of lavender bushes between our fruit trees and had lots of bees this year,it was lovely to see.
