Blue Tongue

This blue tongue lizard (Tiliqua scincoides scincoides) was soaking up some warmth from the sun as I went out this morning:

The middle of the road wasn't the safest place for that, but a little touch with the toe of my shoe saw it off the road quite quickly.

    I love blueys! We used to have one that lived under our house, he would come out and sunbake alongside our dog & 2 cats, and we would catch bugs to feed him!
