Starting Mr Lion

It seems like ages since I have had time to sit and sew. Today I finally got the chance to do some work on this month's Zoo Animals block from Quiet Play:

To try and avoid confusion, I labelled various pieces (sky, face, etc), and made some decisions about which parts of his mane should be matching, and which different, colours. I even managed to get a bit of him sewn, but this could be another case where I take nearly the whole month to get the block done.
