No, this is not the same tunic as yesterday:
This is my second finish for the year. Tunic made with the rest of yesterday's fabric. This one is a little shorter, and has narrow cuffs on the sleeves instead of ruffles. Two new items in the wardrobe, 4 metres of fabric out of the sewing room.
Great idea to make two! I understand what you mean about getting fabric out of the sewing room!
ReplyDeleteTwo different tops made easily. Well done.
ReplyDeleteSew speedy! It works because it has the look of a pinafore, very cute.
ReplyDeleteAnother lovely summer top.
ReplyDeleteWell done and the colours really complement each other.
ReplyDeleteGreat idea to switch up the fabrics--very nice finish hugs, Julierose
ReplyDeleteI like this with the narrower cuffs and the more solid-looking body. Is this your own design or did you have a pattern? I've often thought I could always use my fabric for new tops, and have a sleeveless, snap-front, pocketed "blouse" I wear over tees ala an apron, that I'd make a pattern from; perhaps I should go and look through patterns. Very nice!
ReplyDeletePretty fabric and now two pretty tops! Great job.
ReplyDeleteLOL what a great outcome, two new tops and a bit more room in the sewing stash!
ReplyDeleteTwo nice suits for the new year you've made.
ReplyDeleteInteresting fabrics are used. Marie
Brilliant! You reversed the fabric placement, used up 4m and got two tops!
ReplyDeleteReally nice. Brilliant fit.
