Nightlife

Seen at about 8:30 tonight across the road from our place:
Again I did not have my camera with me, but it wasn't far to go home and get it. So here are two not brilliant photos of a koala by torchlight. Above, with the camera flash, and below, hand-held without the flash.

    Hope the lightening and thunder we got last night didn't frighten any wildlife. A beautiful koala.

    A very healthy looking koala, what's the tree? I've seen one having a good feed in a lemon scented gum.
    Wait until the males start their mating call, the most terrifying sound I have heard in the middle of the night.
