Rosemary in bloom. This one is supposed to be pink, but I don't remember if it ever was. It has definitely been a lavender colour for the last few years.
Why not just demolish the whole thing? Why did they keep just that tiny section of the original house? Especially when the woodwork seems to be all rotten down the right-hand side.
The first ones still look OK, but they need to be kept under shadecloth for a while yet. I put them out in the sun for a couple of minutes and they started drooping immediately.
This was a house this morning. I always wish there was some warning before this happens, so that I could go in and grab any interesting plants, or at least take cuttings from the garden.
I've never realised before that this callistemon flowers twice a year. It flowered in October, and here it is again. Fewer bottlebrushes this time, and there seem to be fewer flowers in each brush.
