Autumn Colours

Red hot poker, Kniphofia, flowering:
They are supposed to flower in spring and summer, but ours didn't, perhaps because they were too small. But several of them have decided to flower now rather than wait until next spring.

My gingko is definitely turning yellow:

The liquidambar is starting to develop some Autumnal tones:

And in the sewing room, I constructed the setting triangles for my table runner:

Your ginkgo must be protected, mine is completely yellow now. And it has lost about half its leaves.

I love red hot pokers and have never grown them. I was just thinking about them yesterday. Yours is beautiful!
