Snow Outside, Snug Inside

Actual snow at 3 o'clock this afternoon:
It looked much better in real life!

It mostly melted as it hit the ground, but did accumulate a bit on some plants in the garden:

Here's the weather station:
Three o'clock in the afternoon, and it is only one degree outside, but a comfortable 19 inside. The inside temperature hardly changes. Our solid house, with double-glazed windows and packed with insulation, is performing very well through winter. Thanks to our architect, Helen Bernard!
