Impressive Dragonfly

A work day where I didn't photograph anything, so here's an Australian Emperor Dragonfly, Hemianax papuensis, in someone else's garden last weekend.

hey that's my dragonfly, the one that i was chasing all over my garden to photograph. they are very large and i just love those pretend eyes on the top of the head. thanks for naming it, k.
